Philip K. Eure Executive Director Philip K. Eure is the Executive Director of the Office of Police Complaints.  He was appointed to the position in July 2000 by the Police Complaints Board, then known as the Citizen Complaint Review Board. Mr. Eure joined the agency after working as a Senior Attorney in the Civil Rights Division of the United States Department of Justice, where he litigated cases on behalf of victims of employment discrimination. While at the department, he was detailed in 1997-1998 to Port-au-Prince as an adviser to the Government of Haiti on a project to reform the criminal justice system. He received his bachelor’s degree from Stanford University and his law degree from Harvard Law School.
