Peter B. Paris
Assistant Chief Investigator  Pater Paris

Peter B. Paris was appointed Assistant Chief Investigator in May 2007.  Before joining the agency, Mr.Paris was a litigation attorney at Dickstein Shapiro, LLP, focusing on securities fraud, white collar criminal defense, and antitrust. 

Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. Paris was a police and community patrol officer for the Boston Police Department where he worked in the Roxbury and Dorchester sections of the city. He also served as field training officer in the Area B-2 Anti-Crime Unit for the Boston Police Department.

Mr. Paris has a bachelor’s degree from Wesleyan University and a law degree from Stanford Law School.
